ABOUT ME
My name is Emilija Augustaityte, I am a recent BArch (H) Architecture graduate from Nottingham Trent University, UK. I am currently working as a PI architectural assistant at Atkins, a design, engineering and project management consultancy, where I further my education through practical experience.

I believe that architecture has the power to inspire people. And when the world is facing critical global issues such as environmental sustainability, food security, global health and education issues etc., architecture can be a part of the solution ensuring that the buildings and cities correspond to a better way of living our lives.

Throughout my years at university, I developed a skill set that will help me to proceed with my career in architecture. Besides the compulsory curriculum, I twice received an award in the summer sketchbook competition, one of my projects was selected for an exhibition, and I also pursued and gained a sustainability certificate. University is also where I discovered my passion for conservation architecture and model making.
